Programming

PLC, HMI, and SCADA written so the next tech can follow it.

The program is part of the panel, not a file someone emails later. We write the logic, build the screens, commission it on site, and leave drawings a person can use at 2 a.m. without calling the original programmer.

PLC panel internals
PLC logicStart and stop sequences, interlocks, alternation, alarms, and PID for level, pressure, and flow. HMI screensStatus, setpoints, and alarms in plain language. Hand-off-auto that an operator will actually use. SCADARemote pads, stations, and plants on one screen. History and a callout when something stops.

Platforms

We match the brand already on the wall. A retrofit does not get a new controller just because it is the one we like.

Allen-Bradley

Rockwell PLCs and PanelView-style screens when that is the plant standard.

Siemens

S7 controllers and the HMIs that go with them.

Schneider

Modicon and related gear where that is what the site already owns.

AutomationDirect

Practical controllers and drives when lead time and spares matter more than a nameplate.

What the program covers

Control, not a science project.

Pump and well sequencing, lead-lag, and alternation
Conveyor and crusher interlocks
LACT, VRU, and compressor permissives
VFD speed control from level or pressure
Alarm lists with a first-out, not fifty lights at once
Remote start and status for pads and lift stations
Commented logic and a tag list
Startup on site, with the operator in the room

How a programming job runs

01What has to happen

Sequence, interlocks, who is allowed to start it, and what must shut it down. Written down before anyone opens the software.

02I/O and tags

Every input and output named the way it is labeled in the panel. No mystery bits.

03Logic and screens

Ladder or the language the platform expects. HMI pages for status, alarms, and setpoints. SCADA if the site is remote.

04Shop test

I/O forced and sequences run before the panel leaves Farmington, when the hardware is ours to test.

05Commission and handoff

On-site startup, alarm check, and a copy of the program plus the tag list. You are not locked to us for the next edit.

Where this work shows up

Oil and gas production and transfer. Irrigation and farm pumps. Mine conveyors, crushers, and dewatering. Water and wastewater lift stations and plant auxiliaries. Same shop standard on each.

Got a PLC nobody else will open?

Call during business hours. Brand, what the machine does, and whether you have the current program are enough to start.
